Purchased this for my daughter for her birthday at the recommendation of her STEM teacher. She loves it!

Bought this for my 6.5 year old son. He seemed to have an interest in electricity and how it works, so I got this for him even though the box says age 8 and up. I must say... this kit is AWESOME! He loves it so much, he wanted to do all the circuits as soon as he possibly could. We were able to do almost all of them in a few days days! (Literally spent hours playing with this. Great toy to keep him busy and learn things over the summer!). He is still not bored with it and wants to do them again! A side note - you cannot complete all the circuits listed in the book. You have to buy an expansion kit or additional pieces. This was a little frustrating but I plan on getting more of these kits anyway so no big deal for me. It comes with a book and it is super easy to understand and follow (although I have a background with electronics how circuits work). However... it does require parental supervision at all times, as there are dangerous parts (spinning fan, etc), plus the danger of incorrectly assembling circuits and causing them to short out. Overall I HIGHLY recommend this toy!

Clever and well made. I would say this targets an 8 to 10 year old. Lot's of flexibility as to what you build.

Nice educative toy. I wanted to buy it again for a gift but the price has increased with 25 and it's a bit over the top.

This ia a great set. It teaches kids the basics of an electric circuit. It has great interactive components, easy to read project instructions, and is totally safe!

This is so fantastic! 10 year old had a blast with it! So did his parents! Such a creative gift!

Excellent hands-on activity for elementary science. I use this kit to culminate my 4th graders' unit on energy. The students ask to use Snap Circuits when they have extra time in class too. Only bummer was that one of the kits had a broken battery holder. Wanted to find a replacement part so students could still use the circuit board--any suggestions?

My son loves his electronic kit. He opened it and started building right away. I don't think he has read all the instructions, but was able to build, I figured he'll read it when he's a little older, he's at the age where they just built anything without asking how and why
