Used to fill holes in the floor due to a drop of a heavy object. Works well and filled in the hole. After staining, could not really tell there was a hole there.

So far I have used this to not only repair the powder paint coating on a horribly chipped wood picture frame, but to patch many small nail holes. While it sanded easily for the picture frame as needed, it was not necessary to do any sanding or touch up painting in either usage. Color matches perfectly and dries quickly without requiring paint though I had purchased some touch up paint for projects in my home. Love the applicator tube as well! RECOMMEND

Better than caulking for wood trim and gaps. We have been installing hardwood floors, repainting trim, and this has been the best product to fix any gaps and paint. It's easy to spread, clean, washable and dries solid. I will never use caulk again for this purpose.

gets sticky and hard to spread overtime. its one of those things you gatta use up for a project. Loses its smoothness if you leave it in a drawer for a year.

My cat likes to use my door frame as a scratcher. Easy to use and drys fast. Definitely recommend to fix a smaller area.

Difficult to spread, even more difficult to get it out of the bottle, my hands hurt after using 2 bottles. But worst is, it's breaking out after 7 hours of being applied and it still feels fresh, it hasn't cured after 7 hours. Regular caulking would have worked better than this.

... but this stuff really is good. Dries fairly quickly when applied in thin layers, spreads like magic, sands easily, and takes paint well. Oh, and if you get it on your hands, it washes off easily. I used it to fix dents and imperfections in an old wooden casement window and casing. Looks like new now. Nice results for a very affordable product.

I needed it to fill a dent in my wooden door and it worked perfectly, super easy to use, spread and clean , I bought a spatula too and the result was perfect

As a long-time user of Plastic Wood who tired of it regularly drying hard as a brick in the can before I could use it all, I decided to give this Elmer's filler a try. Delighted with it, although I've only needed to fill relatively small cracks. Can't comment on applications needing gob attacks of filler. But I can say that the Elmer's still comes out of the tube willingly after weeks of intermittent usage -- definitely an improvement there.

Easy to spread. Drys slow enough to allow you to work the areas necessary. Drys to a perfect white that matches most white trim moulding.
