The most expensive bottle of rubber cement I ever bought in my life. It's the same product I remember but the price is outrageous. I'm not able to get out so I guess I have no choice on price. Better to buyin any craft or stationary store if you are able, Rubber cement is great to adhere papers and creates a permanent bond if you do both surfaces and let them dry. Be careful adhering surfaces because when done this way creates a permanent bond which cannot be removed .

I bought this for a specific purpose (to apply cork to a clarinet joint), and it works just fine. To make this work, I knew ahead of time that you had to apply it to both surfaces, separately, and let them dry until they were tacky. Only then should you press the two parts together. AND, then you should let the clamped assembly dry for at least another 15 minutes. Be careful, because when you press the parts together, they will stay exactly in that position, so don't think you will press them together and then move them around to the correct position. That doesn't work!I didn't realize that a thin layer dries much more quickly than a thicker layer, and that tacky (the right consistency to form a bond between two parts) is what you get after AT LEAST 15 minutes of drying time. Apparently, you can wait much longer than 15 minutes, and it will still work. One person said up to three hours! But regardless of how long you wait, after you join the pieces, you need to clamp them together, and wait some more. As noted above, at least another 15 minutes. Personally, I'd wait overnight before removing the clamp. Also, when this adhesive is brand new in the bottle, it is very liquid. Almost like water, so it will drip everywhere if you aren't careful. So take care to see that you put just a little on the brush before you take it out of the container. Fortunately, if it does spill onto something, and you let it dry, you can simply rub it off with your fingers. So, no harm, no foul. I like it!
