Mission: The primary focus of ecpr is to find safe, loving homes for unwanted, neglected and/or abused animals. We rescue animals that are in shelters and that will be euthanized unless rescued. We safely shelter them without the threat of euthanization until adoptive parents are found.
Programs: In 2016, we rescued 939 animals, principally small dogs, and 853 animals were adopted. All rescued animals were spayed/neutered and given appropriate medical care and innoculations before adoption.
in 2016, ecpr began an equine rescue program. It has rescued, and now safely boards, 36 horses. As with all animals in our care, the horses receive appropriate veterinary attention.
