We have bought it before. We use it in homemade miso soup, and in ramen soups.

I love adding this to my ramen, both instant and home made, and it's really good.

I bought this for making seaweed salad. It was the best value that I could find at the time. It was also my first time making seaweed salad. I soaked it to rehydrate waiting with bated breath until the time that I could enjoy the seaweed salad. Maybe it was my lack of patience, or lack of know how, but getting the seaweed into the little slices like store bought seaweed salad was not happening. After 20 minutes of attempted slaughter of the seaweed, I gave up and made a chunky seaweed salad. Chunky seaweed salad is very fishy. I would say this product is not great for 1st time seaweed salad makers but probably fantastic for other things that need seaweed.

Really did enjoy the Emerald Cove Wakame! Used it in several of Asian soups that I make and even added to some rice with some Chili Crisp. Would definitely recommend this product and will purchase again when I need more!

Never in my life have I eaten seaweed as tough as this.

We love this wakame, it is soft, its flavor is gentle and we can just add it to any dish at the end. It feels very pure with its lovely green color, not like some others, which are brown and have a strong fishy smell.

I love this in my Miso Soup. It expands a lot so you don't need that much.

This form of organic wakame is easy to use and is a basic ingredient in the traditional miso soup that we eat several times a week.

It's thicker than you think. More like thick leaves than shreds. Makes a ton

I would have liked these a little bit thinner strips, but otherwise worked well to make my seaweed salad.

I have purchased this Pacific Wakame several times over the last couple of years and have yet to get an inferior batch. 3 tablespoons always expand into a very nice seaweed salad or maybe you would like to add it to a miso soup.Since consistency is of importance to me, I recommend this Pacific Wakami. However, there are other locations that have a better price on this same product. Accordingly, 4 stars instead of 5.

I love seaweed salad. I order it every time I go out for sushi. Usually, it's about $5 per serving in restaurants. I don't know why, but it occurred to me that I might try to make it on my own - especially after I saw how simple the recipe is. I ordered this wakame for my project. I wasn't quite sure after I rehydrated it; it was darker than the seaweed I usually get in restaurants. (Also, I was too lazy to slice it into slivers, which is how you usually see the seaweed in restaurant salads.) I served it to visiting family members before I'd even tried it and it was a huge success.
