This is a really great product. The aroma and taste is clean and not fishy. I used the seaweed in a soup and it was delicious. The seaweed kept a great color and texture.

I am not Japanese and use wakame only for Miso soup. But this is the best product so far that didn't disappoint. I wish it was a bit cheaper, but I don't mind paying for the best and it lasts at least 4-6 cookings. Strongly recommend.

Great for miso soup. Just a half teaspoon will be enough for a quart of miso soup since they expand.

great flavor - i couldn't believe how much they expanded - just make certain you put them in h2o BEFORE you add them to your recipe otherwise you'll be adding too much - a very little goes a long way ...

I love seaweed and have tried with other brands to make my own. Mine has never as good as what the Japanese restaurants sell....until today! This really was “ready to use”. I added water and voila! Yummy. Just as good as what I buy at the restaurant but be warned that it is VERY salty .Will definitely be purchasing more!

I really love this product. The flavor is fairly subtle and delicious. A little goes along way once it is soaked in water. It grows significantly and quickly. Love this product in Asian style chicken soup.

this was a great value price wise,,, I bought 3 of them I believe,,, I've used up two so far. I make my own Miso soup with veg stock, diced onion/fresh ginger, rice/lentals, sliced mushrooms, Brussel sprouts.. maybe some cubed tofu,,,, then set aside and add a big T of Miso, a Tablespoon of Emerald Cove Silver Grade Wakame and cover while I roast some pumpkin seeds in an open skillet,,,,, put it all in a bowl, sprinkle with pumpkin seeds and a sriracha squirt..... mmmmmmm :P

Great for dry stocking vitamin rich salads, gets moist fluffy in minutes soon as you add water, no more purchasing fresh salads for me, they always spoil so fast!

Be sure to follow the instructions when preparing this wakame because I soaked way too much in water XD. Besides that, they came out great and mixed so well in soup! They have great consistency and the resealable bag makes it easy to save some for later.
