I make homemade seaweed salad using Emerald Cover Wakame and it's super tasty! You get 1.76 ounces in the pack, which doesn't sound like a lot, but once soaked in cool water, this stuff expands to nearly ten times its original size, so you can make a lot of dishes with this one little pack. It's good and good for you! 10/10 would recommend and will continue to buy on a regular basis.

Not as salty as other sea vegetables. Good for cooking, as it stands up to heat. Soaked out, this thickness is perfect in salad as well. Products like this are hard to find in our landlocked community!

This is a really great product. The aroma and taste is clean and not fishy. I used the seaweed in a soup and it was delicious. The seaweed kept a great color and texture.

I am not Japanese and use wakame only for Miso soup. But this is the best product so far that didn't disappoint. I wish it was a bit cheaper, but I don't mind paying for the best and it lasts at least 4-6 cookings. Strongly recommend.

The dried seaweed expands A LOT in warm water. Like a lot of people I wanted to recreate seaweed salad at home like I get at the Japanese restaurants but this is more so what you get in Miso soup. The restaurant seaweed salad stuff is pre-made with food coloring and preservatives. I hydrated this, cut it and made the ginger, sesame dressing to eat over cucumbers and it was delicious. Not the same exact textures as what I have come to expect with the marketed seaweed salad but I actually prefer this now, and with the dressing it had all the flavors that I crave.

This is excellent stuff. I use this in my seitan recipe among other things. Put it in the mortar and get it down to bits or add to soup for delightful sea veggie fun. Even put this in my quinoa while it cooks

Great for miso soup. Just a half teaspoon will be enough for a quart of miso soup since they expand.

great flavor - i couldn't believe how much they expanded - just make certain you put them in h2o BEFORE you add them to your recipe otherwise you'll be adding too much - a very little goes a long way ...

I love seaweed and have tried with other brands to make my own. Mine has never as good as what the Japanese restaurants sell....until today! This really was “ready to use”. I added water and voila! Yummy. Just as good as what I buy at the restaurant but be warned that it is VERY salty .Will definitely be purchasing more!
