Did not fit a homer bucket well. But it did fit perfectly on a blue bucket from Lowes.

Must have for camping with little girls. We'll dig a hole next to the tent so the bucket is lower and stable. Fill the trash bag liner with some dirt, ash, or kitty litter.

Update: I discovered that it doesn't work with heavy-duty buckets. So make sure you get a thin-walled bucket with narrower lip. Both 3.5 & 5 gal buckets from Argee work well. If you are in the US (I'm in CA) you can get them through Home Depot or Orchard Supply Hardware both in black & white. Lowe's doesn't have Argee brand.<br />Maybe in othe states there are other "thin" bucket brands, but I found only this one so far that fits great.<br />Leaktite is too thick.<br /><br />Old review from a while ago (nothing changed, really) :<br />I use it with 3.5 gal bucket, and find it pretty comfy. It snapped right on; I would actually prefer if it were less tight, as it would be easier to take off. Someone recommended to drape sturdy non leaking bags over the seat, a good idea. Playing snap on - snap off would be annoying. No telling how long it will last, but so far - great. Excellent value for the money.<br />Female, 5'4", 150 lbs.

Is awesome for what it is! Serves its process and helps so much with using a bucket as a potty haha my husband worked as a on call tech and traveled a lot and he said this saved him.

Worked well. Snapped tightly to standard Lowe's blue bucket, held my weight (I weigh about 250) fine. When not using it, we kept the seat snapped onto the bucket and strapped to the trailer hitch mounted outside cargo carrier with cargo straps and bungees for 1500 miles on vacation, which included dirt roads and worse getting to pretty remote camping spots, and it held up just fine and stayed in good shape. Seems pretty well designed and well made for lightweight plastic. We're happy with purchase.

Hubby bought this for the next scouting camping trip he has. We haven't tested it out yet, but did fit it on a bucket and support my 160+ husbands weight. Its nice to have a seat instead of digging a trench in the middle of the night- especially for the #2's!

If you require going in a five gallon bucket, it doesn't get better than this. One note: I happened to have six five gallon buckets and this seat only fit on one of them, and that was after a struggle.

We setup a camping toilet this summer in our tent. No more late night trips stumbling thru other's campsites to find the bath house. We we got home it was set up on the homestead for the women to use while out working. It is a great convenience and top notch product. The lid snaps closed to prevent spills & odor. We use kitty litter inside a kitchen trash bag. Makes clean up easy.

We use this on a 5 gallon bucket for a toilet while camping. Works great and keeps the smell, in. Very well constructed, got my parents to buy one as well.
