SNAPS ON SECURELY TO A GENERIC 5 GALLON BUCKET, BUT DOESN'T SNAP ONTO MY HOME DEPOT ORANGE 5 GALLON BUCKET. HOME DEPOT MAKES THEIR BUCKET RIM DIFFERENT FROM OTHER 5 GALLON BUCKETS, IN MY EXPERIENCE. ALSO, MY REGULAR GAMMA SEALS DON'T WORK ON MY HOME DEPOT 5 GALLON BUCKETS. THEY JUST WON'T SNAP ON. I GUESS YOU HAVE TO USE HOME DEPOT GAMMA SEALS ON THEIR 5 GALLON BUCKETS.

Best invention ever if you are down smelling outhouses. Fits on the 5 gallon bucket well.

My husband used firehouse subs bucket they sell it for $2 and it sealed very well on top of it. Great for camping and very useful.

I bought this for my kitten to teach him to use the toilet. I filled a 3 gallon bucket with cat litter - just half way up, and for ballast and storage. Then I added a plastic mixing bowl from Dollar Tree, and filled it with litter. This is the receptical he will use. As he becomes better at it, we will replace the litter in the bowl with water. Koko took right to this system. I didn't replace the litter box, because I have two older cats who are less likely to change over, Instead I set this in our downstairs bathroom, so it is a convenience . He chooses this about 1/4 of the time - often enough that if the litter box should disappear one day,he'll know to use this one.<br /><br />The seat is very secure - takes a little muscle to snap it off and on, This is critical for anyone sitting on it - cat or human. I removed the lid for my purpose, and it came off easily. We can easily travel between our two houses (2 states) with it - I just pop the lid on and carry it by the handle.<br /><br />For hose who want it for camping, etc. i will work just as well. Just choose the height bucket that suits you. You should find it as durable as your regular toilet seat.

This works great when you gotta poop in the woods and you don't want to sit on a tree or squat to poop. I keep trash bags in my bucket that fit over the lid. I use it when I am out duck hunting. 4 stars cus it isn't as good as a regular toilet seat. 5 stars because its more comfortable then a tree.

Did not fit a homer bucket well. But it did fit perfectly on a blue bucket from Lowes.

Must have for camping with little girls. We'll dig a hole next to the tent so the bucket is lower and stable. Fill the trash bag liner with some dirt, ash, or kitty litter.

Worked as expected. We had no problems with it.

Update: I discovered that it doesn't work with heavy-duty buckets. So make sure you get a thin-walled bucket with narrower lip. Both 3.5 & 5 gal buckets from Argee work well. If you are in the US (I'm in CA) you can get them through Home Depot or Orchard Supply Hardware both in black & white. Lowe's doesn't have Argee brand.<br />Maybe in othe states there are other &#34;thin&#34; bucket brands, but I found only this one so far that fits great.<br />Leaktite is too thick.<br /><br />Old review from a while ago (nothing changed, really) :<br />I use it with 3.5 gal bucket, and find it pretty comfy. It snapped right on; I would actually prefer if it were less tight, as it would be easier to take off. Someone recommended to drape sturdy non leaking bags over the seat, a good idea. Playing snap on - snap off would be annoying. No telling how long it will last, but so far - great. Excellent value for the money.<br />Female, 5'4&#34;, 150 lbs.
