My husband loves it. He works in the oilfield out in the middle of nowhere and it's a long way to town to a bathroom. I got him a bucket and trash bags and he's set!

No butts about it....this is an awesome back-up toilet seat. (haha - couldn't help myself). Very easy to snap on a 5 gallon bucket (will snap right over a store bag/trashbag) & easy to remove after use for bag disposal. Very useful for camping, hunting, or just as an emergency toilet in the house. Not very comfortable (since it's just hard plastic), but functions great when needed & is sanitary/easy to clean.

When you gotta go and can't go out in the wilderness, this is the next best option. Kitchen bag and kitty litter and a home depot 3g black bucket

Using a commercial laundry soap bucket, the seat popped right on and was secure. Easy to take on and off. I live in a dry cabin in Alaska, this does what it was designed to do well.

Also works great as a basic trash can lid. Yes it does fit a bit loosely between the lid and the seat, about a 1/16 of an inch gap, so not air tight. Just leave it out side with in easy reach, pull it inside for quick use in winter.

Warms up fast in freezing weather! Comfortable even for the larger fellas. Attaches to a 5 gallon bucket very well. BEWARE, if you are a larger fella your body will create a seal, when gas is expelled from your backside it will travel to the path of least resistance. Typically the path of least resistance is your "ball valve" in the front.
Great product, held up for a week with heavy use from a group of 8 bigger guys.

Great for camping for the lady who just doesn't believe in squatting. I mean come on, it's so cheap, why would you risk peeing on your ankles. Buy this and a bucket!

Used this seat on a few camping trips and it was great! Just slip a small plastic garbage bag in a five gallon bucket with some cat litter and voila, instant porta potti for the late nite potty trips. It sure beats getting up in the middle of the cold night, grabbing a flashlight and making the trek to the campground restroom. By the time you get back you're wide awake! This is definitely a must on any camping trip and one of my better purchases.

This and a five gallon bucket has been my composting toilet system for the last 10 years. If you are still visiting the outhouse, listen up, here is my system for an indoor, water free, compost making toilet system:

First: I fill the bucket 1/3 full of forest duff : fir cones, needles, bark, any cellulose material. Then bring inside and put under my sink with a curtain to hide it. Pee and poop till full or until I want to empty it, which ever comes first.

Next: I empty it under a large ponderosa pine tree, rinse out the bucket with a bucket I keep by the sink and fill with grey water and food compost---meat, dairy, all food compost. Then I rake some pine needles over it all or shovel some compost over the top. I've been using the same tree for 10 years; the pile never gets too big nor does it ever smell. And since I mix poo with the food compost, the bears and coyotes don't bother the pile.

I have several poo buckets so I never need visit the tree until Its convenient. This system uses no water, produces top soil, and takes less than 10 minutes a week.

My inspiration for this system was from reading the Humanure Handbook.
