The double sided pad doesn't stick for very long. Good thing it has drilled holes which I used to screw it in place. The whole base had excessive plastic around it, I guess they don't trim their parts after they are molded.

Great product easy to install. For this 2” gauge I actually had to use electrical tape to get a snug fit. I also used the 2 screw holes instead of the adhesive cause Texas heat.

For what I needed, this gauge pod works great. As with other people's criticisms, the adhesive pad did not work well. I wound up using contact cement. Gauge fit well and secure with use of rubber band supplied. For the cost - great buy.

Purchased this to go with a Banks iDash gauge and it fits fine. It is kind of expensive for what it really is but it works.

I bought this cup after trying an A pillar cup that wouldn't work. I did try mounting it with the double side tape “without” the gauge in it so there was no weight adding to the place I had it mounted. It didn't hold for more then a day, the tape stuck but the gauge fell off the tape! It does say you can screw it in which I will end up doing but I can say that it's not going to be the easiest thing to do as no matter what way you rotate and swivel the cup the mounting holes aren't a clear shot.

Mounts easy enough. I bolted it in rather than using the adhesive. The neck seems to loosen up over time and I've had to tighten it a few times, but it seems to be fine now. I was afraid that if I tightened it any more, the plastic might crack... so far so good! Hopefully this summer heat doesn't make it brittle. I'll update this if it does.
