It's refreshing to get something of quality, that's (still) made in America.Easy to mount they work and hold, just as they should.Perfect rifle / shotgun holder for the tractor. We live in the Ozarks call me what you want, say what you will, whatever the situationmay be, (especially out on a tractor when you least expect it), I'm ready !

Per the manufacturer, the clamp is actually sized for 25 - 45 mm. Converting to inches, this is 1 to 1 3/4 inches. The strap broke when I tried to stretch it around a 2 1/4 inch can.

It works except the rubber already broke.

Not the easiest to latch and unhook, center screw doesn't feel as secure as 2 points of contact would feel. Not sure how they'll fare long term in the heat and UV but they work and are a decent price.

Good rubber clamp system, but you have to supply your own install hardware (nuts, bolts, washers).

This are HD rubber and very well made. Problem: The size they will clamp is WAY off. The best you can clamp without distorting the shape of the clamp is 1.75 inches, NOT the 2.25 they indicate on the package. They DO NOT expand. I needed every bite of the 2.25 and these won't do it. If you have another size that will handle a 2.5 dia. let me known. Sorry.

This review is for the 1-2.25 Quick Fists.I installed these with a metal bracket I made to hold my shovel and axe in my 2013 Tacoma, and they've held up great during my snow wheeling adventures. They seem to be a polarizing product, but I've seen no indication of premature failure thus far. Pliable in cold temperatures, unlike some plastics. Securely holds a shovel using 2 Quick Fists. Securely holds an axe using 1, if you mount it directly at the balance point. Otherwise, you may get some pivoting of the clamp, since it uses a single mounting screw.

No way would I trust a whimpy 3/16th bolt to be enough. I drilled them out and upsized the fasteners. Also note in cold weather (it's in the 30s here now) they are pretty difficult to stretch and get fastened. Also, the base tends to roll up - not sit flat - when you tighten down the rubber base. They're designed with a single center fastener. They'll work for me though.

I got tired of losing the small bungee cords I was using, so I ordered these to hold some tools to my ATV rack while working the farm. I was pretty stoked with the design and function of them and thought the dense rubber would easily handle what I needed them for. I simply attached them to the rack with pipe clamps. They held my shovel securely.for almost 6 hours. All it took was me bumping into the shovel handle while walking around the machine to snap the strap holding the shovel to the mount. I was no longer stoked. Granted it was below freezing and I'm sure the rubber was more brittle than it would be on a warm day. Even so, I sure expected an outdoor tool mount to be able to withstand a variety of actual working conditions.

Instructions call for using 10 screws to attach and say two clamps will hold a high lift jack...I'm not sure I'd trust them for that kind of weight on a vehicle mount. Seem better suited for shovels and axes mounted to roof racks.

Holds shovel tight and in place. Works great with of course some other parts to connect them to the rack.

I was originally disappointed with these mounts. I had read where people had issues with using them or tightening them on tool handles.1. Make sure you have the correct size, the original may be too big.2. The outer end/ finger of the mount MUST go through the hole in the buckle or tab end.If you follow those simple rules they work great. Initially my axe handle was a loose fit, once I used the mount correctly it not only held the tool tightly, but was MUCH easier to cinch down. As long as the rubber lasts a while I think these are a fantastic product that actually works as advertised, that is rare these days! And they mount with ONE 10 flat head screw, less holes in mounting plates or in my case my trailer wheel arch.
