Mission: Care of rescued horses

Target demographics: horses and owners in trouble and using the rescue horses to teach young people about caring and trust.

Direct beneficiaries per year: over 75 horses that were seized by law enforcement or reliquished by owners. We also pulled horses off a slaughter lot and rehomed them.

Geographic areas served: Nebraska and surrounding states

Programs: Calvins Corral for the orpan foal, Bridges of Hope (giving temporary aid to horse owners in a medical crisis. We are soon to open Teresa's Gate a program to partner people suffering from mental disabilities with a horse partner to aid in their recovery.
