My mare had cannon bone crud for months and a few other scabby bumps that wouldn't go away. I've used MTG, Banixx, Vetericyn, Triple Antibiotic, 2 types of athletes foot creams, medicated washes and No Thrush powder. Nothing worked. 1 Application of Equiderma and I could already tell how well it was working. I now use every other day. The cannon crud grease is now coming off easily when grooming and the scabby bumps are gone. Product smells great, no greasy residue and easy to apply. A must have for horses with skin issues in cold climates when benadine scrubs are not feasible. I will be using this lotion all year as a preventative.

It is a product you can NEVER live with out.. You will not believe your eyes trust me, been in horses for 43 years and have always scrubbed like crazy to keep my horses legs cleaned... Well guess what you don't need to scrub so hard it comes right off after 24 hours. I let it sit for 24 hours on my horses ,then I cleaned it off. Then waited a day and replayed where needed and let sit again for 24 hours and cleaned the legs and boom CLEAN as a baby butt.. I can say I am truly in heaven. It is costly and I wish I could get the price down. That would be the only thing. BUT IT WORKS....... You won't believe your eyes.. bought this stuff for my black andalusian gelding who has grunge on his rear cannon bones. seems to help. the ingredients make sense. regular application on 34;clean/dry34; legs is the trick (trying to get either clean or dry is sometimes tough)

I cannot say enough about this in conjunction with the equiderma shampoo! I am a forever customer after my experience! My horse has very sensitive skin and when we moved from California to the south (dry vs. Humid) She developed the WORST case of scratches I have ever seen. It extended from her coronet band to her mid cannon bone. I'm one week in and it is drastically improved! 50 better already! I've never had such great results battling scratches. And SO much better smelling and consistency over mtg.

Best ever for getting rid of cannon bone, tail head, saddle area, etc. crud. It really works-cleared up various areas on four different horses after only one treatment.

When I read other reviews that said this worked in 2 days to get rid of cannon bone scurf/crud, I was skeptical. However, it really works. Two days is all is took and the crud is gone!! My mares legs look great and this could not have been easier to use. Great product!!

Best Healing Product I'v ever ever used on horses!! If I could give 5,000,000 stars I would!! My horse had incurable skin issues and now they are healed!! Many of my friends use Equiderma Skin Lotion now too!! We All LOVE EQUIDERMA!! My Horse Gastone is 6, Iv used equiderma for almost two years. Before skin lotion I call Love Potion LOL I was devastated and very Sad! My horse was in pain and tearing all his hair out!! I tried many other products! Even veteranian prescribed Shampoos and lotions For 10034;s of dollars!! This is the first product that has ever helped him.

Just started treatment with the lotion two days ago, but have already seen improvement in the condition of my horses skin. He had a pretty good case of scratches on his hind legs. Now with daily attention and care, the scabs are already loosening and beginning to slough off. The lotion is easy to work into the hair and skin, and is pleasant to work with. So far I am well impressed with this product. UPDATE: The left hind pastern is completely clear now, and just a little bit of work left to do on the right hind. The lotion is working well. Pleased with results.

Only one application but cleared cannon keratosis and it has not returned. Have had the horse for 16 mos and first time with clear white stockings.

I purchased this item to combat cannon bone scurf as described on the bottle. I also, through recommendation of a trainer that used the product, used it on backs of the my horses ears as he collects similar scurf. This product burned my horse's skin away, his fur looked as though it had melted together and left his skin red raw. This company boasts 34;safe and gentle34; products however this product is far from it. My co-owner received a response from the company after posting pictures on Facebook (upon no reply from a private message) that was antagonistic and accusatory. Recommend HIGH caution when using this product.

My horse had a reaction to this product. I followed the directions exactly as they were written on the product and 3 days later my horse's leg became swollen and oozy. I had my vet look at the leg, then the product and she couldn't really explain why my horse had a reaction. My $29.00 product to treat cannon bone crud became a $230.00 vet bill. I wrote to the company, but I have not heard back. Good Luck
