My horse had that nasty crusty stuff on his pasterns and I put it on overnight and it miraculously washed off the next day!

This is truly a miracle product. My gelding had 34;cannon bone crud34; on one leg that I had been treating for more than a year, the worst lesion was more than 1/2 thick. The vet said to use any of the skin lotions that are available in the feed stores. I tried one that starts with V and one that begins with B. They did not even hold this nasty crud at bay, much less get rid of it. The first time I applied the Equiderma, the crud began to break down and the next morning, it was almost gone. Two days and it was gone. Now, my horse has scabby bumps under his jaw that I assume are from bug bites--they will be treated with this lotion and I expect them to disappear. I am amazed that Equiderma works so well and will continue to use it for skin problems.

Unfortunately, the product isn't working for my horse. I used the product for several weeks and decided to go back to using MTG oil. My horse had an area of skin irritation under his elbow. Not sure exactly what it is, but I wanted to give the product a try (especially after reading other reviews). MTG seems to have taken care of it.

After a long hot and humid spell in Kansas, my sweet little 3 year old Arabian filly broke out with the worst case of rain rot I have ever seen! She lost all of the hair over her loins and back and even had some itchy fungal something on her one white fetlock. We gave her a bath and then applied Equiderm lotion liberally on the bare and balding spots. After three days we could see improvement and repeated this process. The third time we could seeing the skin was healed and hair is growing back within a week! Amazing!
