Mission: Providing loving rehabilitation, nursing and hospice care for equine with medical needs and finding homes or sanctuary for others at risk. Supporting the equine community through education and volunteer opportunities.

Results: In 2019 we were awarded NON-PROFIT of the YEAR 2018 by the Snowflake-Taylor Chamber of Commerce. Since 2006, we have helped rescue, rehab and rehome over 1000 horses, donkeys, mules and minis through our networking, shelter-in-place, sanctuary and adoption programs. Our Hope's Legacy - Emergency Equine Food Fund has cared for an addition 67 equine from 24 families with an emergency need, we also provided euthanasia funds for 2 equine from 2 families with an emergency need.

Target demographics: Horses, donkeys, mules and minis in times of need!

Direct beneficiaries per year: In 2018 we took in 25 horses (9 were emaciation cases), 9 donkeys & 2 mini horses, we rehomed 26.In 2017 we took in 12 horses, 2 mules, 17 minis and 4 donkeys and rehomed 37.In 2016 we helped 74 horses, donkeys and mini donkeys onsite finding homes for 67 and more through networking to find homes. Since 2006 we have assisted over 1000 equine in need.

Geographic areas served: Serving the western states with facilities in Snowflake, AZ and southern CA.

Programs: Care for special needs equine, sanctuary of elderly or non-adoptable equine, shelter-in-place and euthanasia funds, assisting families rehome their equine, education and volunteer opportunities for local communities and working with other rescues to assist more horses and donkeys in need. For residents of the AZ White Mountains we have established an emergency equine food fund to help prevent starvation and help families with feed in times of need.
