Mission: Our mission is to provide outreach for esophageal cancer patients, caregivers, and survivors, to increase public awareness of this disease and to offer education and information in a supportive environment.

Target demographics: Anyone touched by Esophageal Cancer today or tomorrow (survivors, patients, at-risk, caregivers, family, friends)

Programs: EC AWARE offers 3 pillars of programs: Education, Awareness, and Support to the public. 1) Education: EC Aware partners with NCCN in updating guidelines for the EC Patient annually; the information is then outlined for ease of understanding. 2) Awareness: EC Aware provides a grant every year in hopes of better understanding, the treatment of, or a potential cure for esophageal cancer. 3a) Support: we fund a designated support channel with the Patient Advocate Foundation; as a result, the support is delivered at no cost for our EC patients and loved ones. 3b) Support - we offer community matching -- connecting those across their journeys from patients, survivors, and caregivers.
