Mission: The ester volunteer fire department shall provide the citizens of the ester fire service area and the interior of alaska with progressive and effective protection of life and property from the impacts of emergencies.

Programs: Volunteer fire department providing ems services and fire protection and prevention for the community of ester and surrounding community of 3500 residents.
