Results: Friends of Folk Festival - purely for our locals! - now in its 7th year - an afternoon of musical performances highlighting local talent as well as regional and national acts since 2016.~ First Friday! Art Groove - now in its 8th year (since August of 2014!) - highlighting local galleries and craft beverage operations and encouraging local live music. ~ Financial sponsor of Snowygrass - since 2016 ~ Financial sponsor of Art Studio Tour and soon will be one of our regular programs ~ EAD Mural Project - new program in the works - first mural 80% complete; more coming throughout the community - focusing on pure art expression as well as honoring individuals and/or events. Our first mural included much of the community to come out and contribute – by showing up and grabbing a paintbrush. We even included it in our First Friday! Art Groove, and had families and individuals alike (even kids from 5 years on up) spending an evening in October to help paint the historical image of Estes Park . ~ Estes Arts Compound - new program in the works - to create a maker space for artists; a focus for visual & performance art, music, & food. ~ Financial sponsor of Plein Aire Event through Art Center of Estes ~ Financial Sponsor of local Singer/Songwriter Workshop - as well as providing scholarships for attendance ~ Created, produced, & financially sponsored the Mountain Mardi Gras party to support American Legion Post 119 ~ Financial sponsorship - M&M Productions – music event productions; local concerts ~ Financial sponsorship - Pirate Face Productions – for advertising events. ~ Financial sponsorship for The World Famous Lumpy Circus; including purchasing aerial riggers, providing funds for general operation, and purchasing t-shirts for them to sell. ~ The Lumpy Circus works with local children to teach performance skills. ~ For two weeks circus campers work in groups on specific circus arts skills, individual acts, set design and prop construction. In addition to learning skills in acrobatics, dance and theater, the Lumpies also learn teamwork and responsibility. All campers are on a team that has a specific job such as moving mats, collecting equipment, band support or materials management. ~ SCHOLARSHIPSWe provide Financial Scholarships to locals to support artistic pursuits. Over a dozen financial scholarships have been given to local creatives since 2016 ~
