I was hesitant to buy this bulb changer because of some of the reviews. However, after my purchase, I was very happy with its performance.The main issue people said in their reviews were that the wing screw stripped the plastic housing and made it useless. I did not find that this was the case. The wing screw is meant to lock the head into place and prevent the unscrewing from the pole. By gently tightening the wing screw so it JUST comes in contact with a threaded pole, it locks it into place by blocking thread movement. Thereby, not spinning off the pole when removing the bulbs.It easily attaches to a standard threaded pole. I've only tried the floodlight attachment thus far.I changed 8 indoor floodlight bulbs in 10 minutes with no issues. It grasps the bulbs easily and make it simple to unscrew the bulbs.Firm but gentle is my rule and it worked with this product.

The screw on the yellow plastic base cracks the plastic and won't tighten. A HOSE CLAMP OVER THE BASE TIGHTENED UP WORKS GREAT AND SOLVES THE PROBLEM. I have tried many, many kinds of bulb changers for my 16 foot ceiling floods and this is the best. After the hose clamp is added!! Thank you resourceful husband.

I had several different styles of light bulbs to change and didn't have a variety of adapters to attach to the end of my extension pole. These light bulb changing adapters work for EVERY kind of bulb. They work great, are well made and would recommend to everyone.

This is a great looking product but did not work for our candelabra bulbs. The fit was not right and it snapped the neck right off. Now we have to get a ladder after all to remove the filament.

Adapter for my high hat kitchen bulbs worked great except you need to hold your light fixture in the ceiling with something when you pull the adapter off the bulb. I used a pool stick. Worked fine. Be creative!

Worked for me. It attached easily to the threaded end of an extention pole I use for painting. The threaded end is exactly the same size as with the end of a paint roller, which is exactly what I hoped for. The only comp!aint I have is the little metal screw used to grip the pole end stripped out the plastic really fast. Luckily this really didn't matter for me but it might for some folks.

This is a really cool product. Easy to use. Suction gave out a few times. But overall all we were able to change the bulb that was 2 stories tall with a long pole.

I used it to change the bulbs in the ceiling fan in my 2-story living room. Worked great. The metal screw fastener that secured the bulb changer to the pole could have been designed better (it cane loose a few times) but it got the job done.

I can't seem to use this. I think it's my set up more than this product. I have a VERY high chandelier that is not fixed. Because it swings around so much I can't get any leverage to push up on the socket and get hold on the metal base (I had a bulb break off and I'm trying the socket removal tool). I wish I could use it but I can't. I have a bulb now to change in the center that is a flat flood style bulb so we'll see how the caged attachment works. You do get a lot of different tools with one kit. I already had the extension pole so I used this with my existing one.I guess I'll hire a handy man with scaffolding...
