Great tent that I use in the winter or summer. Breathable and easy to set up in 5 minutes.

Its a bit heavy but is easy to set up and has double walls so it will hold out the weather better. It has a large rear window and a large door for maximum air flow as necessary. I spent 4 days of wind and rain in it with no problem. I did seam seal it well. I consider this a three season tent only.

The tent was purchased to take backpacking in the grand Tetons. Easy to setup and can accommodate 2 adults if being snug isn't bothersome. Recommend setting up at least once before actual use to become familiar.

Timberline 4 is the best. Easy to setup/takedown, stayed dry, has good ventilation. Eureka knows how to build a tent. Get one.

Timberline tent has been around since the 60s the price of 79.00 bucks it's my first backpacking tent ...Eureka started with only a two man and grew to 4 along with 6 man tent down the road they are build to last I still own my tent .. Lol they came in green or Orange then . 5 million boy scouts can't go wrong for a while on hiking trips that all I saw in the local mountains even in the Sierra in t he summer ... It is not a 4 season tent and really not a three season either ... But it is a very good tent easy to set up has room for two. Good Windows. And screen good fly set up the floor needs Sean sealer and ground cloth. It has a nylon floor. Not one of those cheap plastic floor you see all over good again the wind and head room. Weight is not the greatest !!! the tent came out around the same time as the jansport first dome tent came out ... If you are looking for a good tent this is the one like any good thing. .. You need to take care of it and it will last like mine has. For almost 50 years note. Replace a few poles . And stitch up a few places along the way and used some ripstop tape.

I bought this tent in 1999. Used heavily for about 5 years before we had kids. Then had to buy bigger tents since our family grew. Bought 3 or 4 mostly Coleman that lasted 2 to 3 years on average. Now kids grew and have their own tent so remembered I still had this old tent in the basement. Took it out and set it up in no time. Everything looked like I just bought it yesterday -material looked new, strong and shiny. Tubes and elastic connectors - pristine. Plastic connectors and pegs - not a spot or crack. Everything even smelled new. I have no words to describe my surprise that all held so well after so much time has passed. Then I found the warrant card. It simply stated: Made in U.S.A. Lifetime warranty on materials. I guess that sums it all up.
