I notice most people use this the wrong way to burn wood (here and on YouTube). The ring of elongated holes should be on the bottom with the round grate just above them and just below the wide opening, to provide decent air flow to the bottom of the wood. The slightly smaller circumference section then inserted on top of that with the ring of round holes at the top to act as flame holes.

great light-weight back-pack stove!! man the heat that it puts out!! the burner fits very nice in my winterial base that was not as hot. so it can be used in both stoves.

While this was a great looking and sturdy product this round shape was too large for my cycling pack.

Handy little gadget. Haven't tried to use wood with it yet. Just alcohol.

Weighs nothing, works with a bunch of different burners. Collapses down pretty well, and fits inside my 700ml pot with plenty of room for a Toaks siphon burner. I haven't tried it with twigs, er 34;biofuel34;, but I see no reason why it wouldn't work.

I have purchased several. This is not the cheapest... not even close... but it is the best. The standard of measure is to boil is 2 cups of cold water... I got this to a serious boil in 3 minutes. No wind, mind you. I used Grain Alcohol as the fuel... Way more expensive, but way better.

pretty impressive. Functions similarly to a bushbox pocket or similar, but round shape fits in mini pots and pans more easily. No someone needs to design a perfect fit alcohol bottle of the same diameter and rough height, to stack neatly on top, so I can have fuel, stove and cup all in a single space.
