Mission: Our mission is to break the cycle of child abuse and domestic violence through providing primary, secondary and teriary prevention and intevertion programs for children, individuals and families.
Target demographics: to help build strong and resilient children and families
Direct beneficiaries per year: 700 clients with free trauma therapy, 70 clients with home-based support, 300 with center based education, and 1800 with hospital based support and education; 280 with Anger Mgt. Classes, and over 10,000 with community and professional training!
Geographic areas served: Southeast Alabama
Programs: Free individual and group trauma therapy to survivors of child abuse, domestic violence and sexual assault; ; center, hospital and home based parent support and education programs; Parenting Assessment and Referrals for DHR; School-Based Counseling for high-risk children; Community-wide and Professional Training on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), Trauma-informed Care, and Mandatory Reporting Laws. In addition, we provide school-based prevention edcuation.
