I'm pleased with this rake. The head is aluminum and, while it's lightweight to use, it's still more than sturdy enough for active use. The handle is long which is a plus for these types of rakes. Assembly is straightforward as long as you keep in mind there are three different lengths of bolts. The assembly guide clearly shows how to put it together (takes all of five minutes). It is made in China.I use this to comb out rocks from my garden after tilling. It's a whole lot faster than picking them up one at a time. I use the 24 inch model since that allows for easier maneuverability.Good value for the price, and a unique design that works well.

We bought this as a rake, and it has been the neighborhood favorite for leveling, raking, digging, and even tampering. It's very light but very heavy-duty.

The rake was solid construction. The paint job was nice on it. Mine came with all the hardware and instructions. It takes 3 bolts to put it together. The third was tight to get in but that also made it line up well and fit everything tightly together. There was a bolt and lock nut for the predrilled holes, i had enough room that i could add in a few washers too. I tested mine and worked well leveling my backyard. I am planting new grass. I worked at Seven Peaks Resort with a lot of landscape rakes and this one was on the stiffer and sturdier side. Mine costed the same almost as the 3 ft version. I dont like the 3 version, just a personal preference. The 4 feet wide just makes it all look better.

Don't know how long it will hold up buy very easy to put together. It rakes the rocks and does what it's supposed to do. The weak points are at the arms to the handle.Couldn't find one in the store so this was the choice to make. My other one was cheaper but it was before the pandemic.

Love this rake for rocks. My only complaint is the machine screws and nuts are some weird size. I have a lot of hand tools and could find no socket or wrench that fit the screw heads well. No imperial tool fit. 10mm metric fit loosely but it worked. This was a bit weird since all dimensions given are in imperial units. A minor complaint for a fine tool.

I had been trying to use a 12 inch rigid garden rake to level my back yard until I bought this. The Extreme Max 36 inch wasn't the least expensive, nor was it the most expensive. But it works. And I am finding more uses for it.The instructions are adequate, but not great. It comes with four sets of perfectly sized lock nuts and bolts. Two of the bolts are the same length. The other two are longer, but not the same length. They don't interchange. (Don't ask how I know this.) Assembly is simple, once the bolt placement is understood. You will need a 10 mm wrench and an adjustable wrench at a minimum. If you have a box of tools with a shelf life from an import store, you will have no difficulty.
