Using stretcher bars makes doing my crewel needlework much easier to handle. These worked very well, easy to assemble.

These are great for needlework, however, this time I used them to make silk screens for printing. They worked great!

These are great stretchers for displaying needlepoint. I use a staple gun and stretch the needlepoint the same way I would a canvas for painting. There are 2 different width sizes, mini and regular. Just make sure you don't try to combine the 2.

Easy to fit together, and a tight fit that holds.<br /><br />Add two inches to your pattern border measurement, both vertically and horizontally. Otherwise your pattern will run over the frame and not be sewable.

These stretcher bars are perfect for holding your needlepoint fabric in place while working on it. They are very durable and once in place, they hold nicely. I have never had to re-adjust them. I use tacks to secure the fabric.

I'm now 76 years old - I've been needlepointing since I was 21 years old. I can remember how "out of square" my finished piece would be UNTIL I learned about the stretch bars. I have a trunk full of them because I always have 2 or 3 pieces of needlepoint in the works at any given time.

These are cheaper here then any store. People should READ descriptions of items before they buy. It states EXACTLY how long, wide , and how many there are in a pack. These hold your needlepoint mesh/ canvas with tacks. It is easier to stitch and can then be framed with out the mesh becoming lop sided. Also, some patterns are not exact squares. I have several that are 10x16. That is why they sell them 2 per box.
