First time using and a bit intimidated putting them together because of the force needed to connect. But just wiggle and push at the same time! You can use a mallet for the final tweaking to set flush.

I use these stretcher bars to stretch my needlepoint canvases for easier and more comfortable stitching. They do the job admirably.

Very easy to assemble and it holds my needlework in place well. Don't be an idiot like I was and only purchase one, you need two to complete the frame.

I've never stretched a canvas before, but I had bought one on vacation and it needed a frame. The price point on this was right in case I screwed it up. It was really easy to use, and not as hard as I thought!

I've been stitching for ever and I've used every type of hoop style out there. I decided to try these bars on one of my last projects and it was the best thing ever! I love that I can get whatever size for my project and that it will fit perfectly. I also love that I won't have anymore hoop marks on my fabric (that always drove me nuts). I went and purchased every size they make, lol. They're sturdy and easy to assemble.
