These have been my go-to cross stitch frames for decades. Over the years I have acquired a collection of 3/4" bars in many lengths but did not have 18" bars for my latest project, so I ORDERED 18" regular (3/4") size bars to fit my existing collection, but received 18" MINI (1/2") size. Because my project is large and therefore heavy, I'm willing to give the lighter Mini a try. I'm NOT happy (2 stars) because I rather desperately needed to start this, and now I have to wait for matching (Mini) bars to arrive. Also, they would have been cheaper if the matching sets had been ordered together. Which reminds me, this 1" square-by-18" long stick came in a huge box, very wasteful. Order snafu aside, the product is excellent and highly recommended; I suspect I will like the smaller, lighter minis even better. Update: The mini size are only available as an addon item; really pissed, now!

They do what they're supposed to do. I've used them - over and over - for years and rely exclusively on this brand to stretch needlepoint canvas.

Brick stores don't carry these any more.<br />Fits like a glove at the corners.<br />Easy to attach needlepoint canvas to bars.<br />Holds canvas well during entire project.<br />Don't have a problem recommending these to anyone.
