I don't understand all the hoopla about how difficult this stand is to put together. If you read the instructions it's a piece of cake. Check the contents list, line up the parts and put it together. Now my hook rug is so much easier to handle since it's off my lap.I definitely recommend this stand if you plan on working with larger kits.I choose to have the yarn boxes behind my work rather than in front as the instructions suggest.You decide what's more comfortable for you.

I have attached a Frank A. Edmunds lap model stitching stand (using zip ties) to the Frank A. Edmunds rug hooking stand. Used in combination I am able to comfortably stitch for hours sitting at a comfortable height.This had made an easily movable table/stand which holds yarn supplies, scissors and plenty of other items.

I've been wanting this frame for a while and it's great! Yes, you need to assemble but it's easy peasy; just be sure to tighten all the wing nuts so it doesn't wobble. I am sitting in a double rocker with the yard storage tray away from me. I might add locking wheels so it's easy to move around. Worth every penny!

It took less than 3 weeks to arrive in New Zealand, including clearing Customs. It appeared to be a daunting task to assemble but, by following the instructions closely, it was easy! And my mum is happy with her frame

Lightweight but sturdy frame that was easy to assemble but does require two people for box sections of it. Missing instruction detail of cross frame direction for front or back so I guessed. Pleased with product.

I was hooking a large Christmas tree skirt, and this easily handled it. I was very satisfied with it. My husband put it together and said it was not too difficult. He said the instructions could have been a little clearer, but he had no problems.

This frame went together perfect. As the other reviews stated it was a little shaky, but you just need to tighten the wing nuts and it's fine for working on the latch hook rug. I found it especially useful on the last rows of the rug, I didn't not have any problems. Your not going to put anything other than the rug on it to work, so I don't see what everyone's problem was. I would encourage my friends to purchase this brand of frame, it is great.

When I opened the box and saw all the pieces, a couple of colorful words came out of my mouth. I thought I couldn't assemble it. Once I started, it was a lot easier than I thought. I put it together in 30 mins.It feels sturdy and should last for a long time.
