Holds the fabric without becoming loose. The wood and clamp do not Crack, or fail apart after multiple uses. Very happy

Using for embroidery projects with silk floss so threads aren't crushed. Lightweight making it easy to turn when stitching or getting to the back of work.

I like the size of this hoop for rug hooking when I want something small and portable. It is wide enough to hold the fabric tight.
