All parts made well and easily hold material. Work well with stands that hold various size projects.

Very well made, the rods are very smooth and the clamp helps hold material tight.

I love crossstitch, and have not done it in a while. It's time consuming and when I was young with kiddos to chase it was just difficult to work on. I still had a small metal hoop from my childhood, but I was never a fan. I had never bothered to see if there was anything different, however, I also quilt and was looking at long arms. This kinda reminded me of that concept, but on a smaller scale. I never even knew these existed but saw picture of someone working on a crossstitch on a frame and thought, wow what a great idea. I added a basting grid on my fabric for accuracy and got her loaded and ready to go easily. I also picked up the stand. At my age magnification helps too, but I am really looking forward to my next project. The plastic clips are tight at first and a little challenging to get on and off, but I expected that. They will loosen up after a few uses, the clips on my long arm were the same. I am really pleased with the set up and looking forward to using it. I might not have picked up new hand work without having such a great frame to work with.

I liked the quality and it isn't heavy. Easy to scroll the fabric around the frame. I'm presently using it to hold my cross stitch fabric. Also like that it came with 2 sizes.

This product holds my cross stitch project more firmly than any other I've tried. At least initially I've had no difficulty removing the plastic forms that hold the canvas in place. I've only removed and replaced them 2 times, however. I would recommend this product to almost anyone who has been using the split roller bars.

The instructions that come with are a little sparse but once you figure out how to use it, it's like a gift from the gods. So much more space to work with and it feels nice and sturdy, which is miles improved from the mediocre hoops I used to use. A bit pricey, but if you're going to be working on big projects you will not regret this purchase

I wish I found these years ago, they are so much better than the plastic hoops i have. Those hoops have a small metal ring to rotate to tighten the fabric and this product has black rotating knob that is much more easier to grip and twist. The clamps are great, so much better than stretching it out on a plastic hoop, it was so time consuming to the fabric just right in the hoops but with this frame, its so easy.

If you've ever tried sewing a big piece while using embroidery hoops, you'll know the struggle: puckered fabric, having to re-hoop your fabric too often making it loosen every time..This thing changes all of that!!I'd highly recommend using this with a craft holder, as it's not easy to hold otherwise.

I use scroll frames for nearly all of my cross stitch projects. I prefer them to q-snaps, but sure like the taughtness of qsnaps - so I was interested to try this set of Handi-Clamp scroll rods out. They are FANTASTIC. I am a convert. NOTE: the multi-size kit has 3 sets of rods but only 2 sets of sidebars and knobs. Most stitchers likely have plenty of extra side bars from other sets - BUT they may or may not have large enough holes for the Handi-Clamp system end screws. So just be aware. You will also need to buy an additional set of the specific knobs for this system if you want to have 3 projects mounted at once.

I haven't used this yet, but according to the reviews, this is just what I need for my first needlepoint project. It seems easy to assemble and use to keep my canvas taut. All pieces are straight and of quality wood.
