I do a lot of needlework. I cross stitch, embroider, quilt and do many other crafts. I have to say I love these frames! They are very nicely made and they hold my fabric nice and tight. I think they are a very nice quality. They are much better than anything else that I have bought through the years. I highly recommend them.

This a just what I was looking for. The clamps are strong and hold my needle work securely. I chose this set because of the variety.

I was concerned I wouldn't be able to remove the clamps from the stretcher bars due to the lack of grip strength in my hands, but thankfully there's a trick. Take a LARGE flat head screwdriver and pry up one end of the clamp and it'll pop right off. Attempting to get the clamp off with my hands was a no-go, and using a variety of smaller tools also didn't work. In reading other reviews I was also concerned about not being able to get the fabric on straight, but if you follow the directions and lay the fabric in the CLAMP piece (not on the scroll bar itself) it worked fine. The knobs are quite a bit smaller than other scroll frame sets I've used but I had no problem working them. I am pleased with this purchase; the frame holds the fabric tight and it's easy to assemble and use. It's also a lot lighter than other frames out there, and cheaper too.

Nice idea. But I can't get the clamps off the rods. So can not use will stick to Velcro tape. Wish they sold the stretcher bars on their own. Have returned the item.

8 wooden knobs arrived; ONE wooden knob's metal insert is partially outside and not flush with the wood surface. Requesting this knob be replaced. Thank you. Debby

Wood is very smooth and clamps hold my needlepoint straight. I found the clamps hold everything nice and tight. Great buy.

I absolutely love these!!! No sticky tape needed and they hold "TIGHT" the fabric. Worth every penny

Exactly what I needed. Exceeded my expectations. Wood was sanded and smooth, and the parts that are finished are beautiful.

Worth the purchase, I would like to get the stand for this but it works great being hand held. It's also small enough I was able to get a lamp/magnifying glass to clip to it with no problem. There are three different sizes that come with. The size shown in the my pictures are the middle size. It's pretty easy to figure out. Don't fully tighten the knobs and you can roll and un roll and get your fabric to where you need it.

My favorite system for cross stitch. I did sand the bars to round the edges a little. Works well with the generic stands available at the big box hobby stores. No sewing / glue / velcro / etc to attach fabric. Best of q-snaps and wood frames combined.

Very happy with this purchase, have used it already on a quite large cross stitching project and was very pleased with the results. Great not having to use hoops which leave crimped marks in the stitching area.

Really love that I don't have to stitch my piece of work to the bars. This is a great system and holds the material tight!

I have been using this for a few weeks now, and I absolutely love it! It is very simple to use, and works so much better than your standard hoops. I definitely recommend getting this frame.

Great product but was returned as it did not fit the need of my wife and her sewing position.

This scroll frame kit is wonderful! I read through many reviews and have to agree that removing the pvc piece that goes over the fabric is very difficult to remove. One person noted that she twists the pvc piece in opposite directions and then can remove from one end. This technique works very well. Twist it as far as you can and pull the pvc away from the wooden down. I put one end between my knees to hold it in place. Very easy! I also saw that many struggle with getting the fabric on the pieces while keeping it straight. I ended up drawing a line down one of the rows of the cross stitch fabric and then pressing a fold. It then lays in the well of the pvc piece and holds while you put the dowel in. Worked the first time. My piece is in the frame straight and no fear of pulling the piece off grain. If only this frame kit fit in the clamp bars of the Master Stand by the same company. I had to improvise with that as well. All in all, I really like the two products together.
