Very well made and I am sure I will love them once I figure out how to get my fabric on them correctly

The new clamp system works very well to keep my needlepoint in place. Makes working evenly easy, although I did buy a stand to hold it to alleviate upper back strain. I really like this bar frame!

Great product and so easy to use. Would have liked the wooden balls at the end of the rods that looked pretty, however got black plastic tighteners

Other than the clamps not being well sanded, no real complaints.

I was disappointed that I received plastic ends; instead of the ones show in the description. (I had purchased it for to the full wood look.)It can be difficult to align the fabric with the plastic clips. That aside it is a very sturdy product.

I previously used bars that you actual had to sew the project to the fabric. Too time, not easy, but kept the project very taut. Then I used the bar/clamp system that had a split bar and screw to clamp. That was very difficult to align properly and keep tight. Quit that real quickly. This Edmunds handi-clamp is very easy to use and align properly, and takes very little time. The only issue is that it doesn't keep the project as taut as I would like, but good enough. The other thing that only time will tell, is that the plastic clamps and whether the will lose their tightness over time being taken on and off. For now, love it (mostly). I would buy again.

I'm using this for a needle point project right now and it's help a great deal to keep the canvas straight. It can be awkward at times to hold it and stitch. I'm think about buying a stand for this as well

I like the frame set for the convenience but the knobs keep coming loose. In fact one of the knobs fell off and I had to look for it.

8 wooden knobs arrived; ONE wooden knob's metal insert is partially outside and not flush with the wood surface. Requesting this knob be replaced. Thank you. Debby

This scroll frame kit is wonderful! I read through many reviews and have to agree that removing the pvc piece that goes over the fabric is very difficult to remove. One person noted that she twists the pvc piece in opposite directions and then can remove from one end. This technique works very well. Twist it as far as you can and pull the pvc away from the wooden down. I put one end between my knees to hold it in place. Very easy! I also saw that many struggle with getting the fabric on the pieces while keeping it straight. I ended up drawing a line down one of the rows of the cross stitch fabric and then pressing a fold. It then lays in the well of the pvc piece and holds while you put the dowel in. Worked the first time. My piece is in the frame straight and no fear of pulling the piece off grain. If only this frame kit fit in the clamp bars of the Master Stand by the same company. I had to improvise with that as well. All in all, I really like the two products together.

This set is much nicer than I expected. The wood looks very nice and has no sharp edges of splinters. It keeps the cloth tight and I like it better for this large piece I just started, rather than a hoop.
However, the pvc bars are VERY difficult to remove. I considered returning it almost immediately as I was trying to remove them. After about 5 minutes I considered asking my fianc for help (but I'm very stubborn). Eventually I discovered that if you twist the ends of the pvc in opposite directions around the rods as much as you reasonably can, then attempt to remove it is much easier to get off.
My second complaint is that it was difficult to to insert the cloth evenly. It kept moving on me and came out angled instead of even. It just took a couple tries though and I got it.

Difficult to operate but once it's set up, it's a nice set. I would recommend it.

solidly made and holds fabric well. You need a strong pair of hands nearby to use, but other than that it is great.
