Very time consuming having to turn is so very much due to fine threads. You can't purge the air out of the hose because of a one way valve in the fitting. You have to push it in with a screwdriver or something. I found an adapter I use now that screws in to open the valve to purge the air. Other than that it works. It should have a female square so you can use a ratchet or power tool to turn it. Also its expensive for what it is.

Ok, that might be an exaggeration, but good lord. I mean, if I have to inject dye during or after the apocalypse, this is what I will use. Solidly built. Thanks folks, I always appreciate an overbuilt finely machined tool
