The locking mechanism is a swivel instead of a screw which means they won't gradually become unlocked with vibrations or normal use like some of the screw types will do. And they automatically lock when closing so you don't have to manually lock them in the closed position.additional reviewI already submitted a review for these after purchasing them last month. I liked them so much, after using them for just a couple weeks that I purchased 2 more. When I came in to write another review, my 1st review was already filled in the review form, so I assume I'm just editing and the review will show up twice, maybe?I don't use these for climbing, but rather to hold various tools in a hazardous environment where a non-locking biner may inadvertently clip onto something that may cause an entanglement issue. These remain secure while using them, and are easily cleaned if any debris gunks them up. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

The FresKaro Carabiner is a great product. It is hefty, yet lightweight, strong, and the twist-lock function is a great feature which reduces the chance of accidental opening of the carabiner. With all due respect, the person who made the video needs to learn grammar. The proper opening statement should be, "Wherever You're Climbing,' as in "wherever YOU ARE climbing." "Wherever Your Climbing" makes no sense since 'your' is possessive, as in your climbing gear should include FresKaro Carabiners. I hope the editor fixes the video.

These are relatively light, seem sturdy and lock and unlock easily. I used them for climbing on the roof for a repair work and it worked well.

my dog is an escape artist, she has unlocked deadbolts and turned door knobs to get out of the house, so undoing a swivel clip with a basic spring-loaded clasp took her no time at all. the mechanism on this item is complicated enough to keep her connected but easy enough for me to remove with one hand. So far so good.

Purchased these for the women in my family. They are connected around the strap of their purse and then attached to a shopping cart when they go shopping to prevent theft. They latch on great and would take two hands and more time than a snatch and grab would allow. Light weight so they are not burdensome when not used for this purpose.

Looking for a rated carabiner for climbing at the gym and for arborist work. I like the twist to open feature. Bought this for the price and it came in a 3-pack. Standard sizing.fits in my GriGri, hand ascender, BD Pilot ATC.

Easy to use and very sturdy, I weigh in at 212lbs and even one was enough but I use all 3 for redundancy. I used it for rappelling a few times utilizing a figure 8 on a Swiss seat. Picked up a second set to use as backups or tying support lines.

I wasn't sure what to expect. These are very strong, light weight and have a confirmed locking mechanism. If you need solid carabiners, these will do the job.

I work on cell phone towers and have had these for a few months now, they're holding up just fine! Perfect for quick clipping off of things. Not for rigging since they're aluminum but they hold fine for chokers and other things I might carry on me.
