My fan was failing and there was no label to verify the proper fan I ordered from the picture and hit the jackpot This was the exact fan to fix my high efficiency furnace A little dab of high temperature silicone in the sealing ring and it bolted right on I just had to splice the electrical connection for one of leads The furnace is quiet again

This is the exact replacement for the Trane pn D342094P03 induction draft assembly This replaced a 9yr old assembly that had no more than 10 min of run time thats right 10 min operation) My heat system is such that the gas furnace only runs when I switch over to Aux heat during power outage running on generator) Found the failure when I tested the system Have disassembled the failed motor to find that the motor front bell that houses the sealed SS bearing rusted and allowed rust to leak into the bearing causing motor lock up My guess is the normal operation of the heater draws a vacuum pulling moist air thru the motor shaft The bearing is a NMB 608SSD21 Will replace this failed bearing and have a backup motor for when this one sees the same failureNOTE: If you have a heat system that runs off gas only during power outage you need to test the function of the heat at least at the start of the cold temp season for you Had this happened during a sub freezing event I would have been in big trouble with frozen pipes
