I work in a commercial lumber yard/hardware store, and I must say that this is a really nice pencil. Works exactly as advertised! It is a logical extension of the carpenter pencil concept and I use it daily. I've even got my co-workers impressed with it and wanting one of their own. I give it 4 stars out of 5 because i feel there is room for improvement. Build quality is good, hand feel is good, and having an eraser is great. Main gripe is how loose the lead is when you depress the eraser end, it will fall out. I've accidentally tapped it on something and nearly lost the lead many times. Despite that I would still greatly recommend this pencil.

Great carpenters pencil , replaceable graphite is strong and sturdy , writes perfect and consistantly percise , great replacement for the traditional carpenters pencil. No more messy lines or brittle graphite that breaks all day.

Works, good, would be better if square so it did not roll around.

I bought two, I would give 5 star, but both erasers fell out ( lost ) first use.

My new favorite pencil. Every time I use it some comments on how cool it is.
