My favorite type of tape measure. Lays flat on wood for precise measurements. I build furniture and I use it for all of my projects.

Hands down the best tape measure I have used for woodworking. The tape laying flat on the surface you are trying to mark is a beautiful thing. It makes life a lot easier when trying to make accurate markings. The only thing I am disappointed in is me... For not getting this sooner. The extra features like built in pencil sharpener and erasable pad are just icing on the cake. I would give this 5 stars even without the extra bells and whistles. Considering a red or yellow (no names please) tape is double or triple the price of this one, the choice to buy is simple. Can't say enough about this little beaut.

Love it. If you want exact measurements, this is the tape measure you want. It lays perfectly flat.

this tape is too cool, for years i wanted a tape that would lay flat so i could mark a line with out having to bend my tape. this thing laid flat on my work peace. i did have a little bit of a learning curve but you adjust quickly. cool tape

I like FASTCAP tape measures for the features and functionality. I have more than one, and use them all a lot when woodworking.

What a great tool! Lays flat for panel or fine finish layout. Great tape with note pad on the side and built in pencil sharpener. I love this tape.
