I've been using this mousepad for about a month now, it's held up fine. I constantly move it around the house w my laptop. I went to Walmart to buy one and they wanted $10!The bottom has grip and the top is smooth which is nice. Overall a good buy.

I actually used this mouse pad to wrap around my market umbrella pole because the pole was slightly too big for the stand. It worked perfectly. Multiple uses!
