Mission: FemArt Gallery, Inc. is committed to support and promote women in the visual arts through exhibition opportunities, educational programs, and community outreach.

Results: Since becoming a non-profit organization in June 2017 FemArt has provided over 25 art exhibits with each promoting 17-60 artists for each show; one women's talk with Deborah Reid, Esq. who discussed Women, Art, Law and Bias; and, a our Education Committee has provided courses on art business such as writing an artist statement and social media promotion of artwork and how to value your art and yourself. Our Education Outreach program began a community program for our high schoolers in Title I schools that have a professional artist visit an art class who is representative of marginalized artists who have dual bias related to their gender and race. These women have gone into the classroom and told about their journey as a woman of color in the Fine Arts and how they have found success through perseverance and other traits that have helped them succeed. All of the programs in the past five years have grown stronger and uplifted over 250 women artists. This growth is made stronger by donors and sponsors that believe as we do in the success of women artists who cultivate a better society.

Target demographics: bring awareness to our community and society of the great and diverse contributions that women artists bring to our cultural identity.
