More than I'll ever need, but then again they're small and easily lost

I had no idea that these even existed. Has made my strat style guitars' tremolo units much more manageable and cut down on the noise they generate by the swinging bar.

I am giving it 4 Stars because it was delivered very promptly & item was exactly as described in Fender packaging & reasonably priced with several springs in the package so it's a good deal. Note: These springs are were too fit both American and Mexican Stratocasters'. However, I have a great 2002 MIM Strat and the spring did not wrap around the Tremolo arm; and finally I just dropped it in the Tremolo hole for the bar; and then tightened the Tremolo arm expecting to feel the tension from the spring, but there wasn't any spring tension at all. As I turned the Tremolo arm it was as if the spring wasn't there. The turn revolutions and tension was the same with or without the spring. I am guessing the spring was not long or deep enough for the Mexican Stratocaster body and the springs do not engage with the tremolo arm without some modifications. I am going to try streching one a little next time before inserting another.

These are used underneath the threaded-in Fender Wammy bar to keep it from swinging loosely when not in use. Works well, but should be lightly greased at friction points for smooth and quiet operation.

You may not even realize you need a new one, but keep them on hand and you will notice the difference.

Product is exactly as I expected. I use a Mexican made strat and a custom guitar with a strat style bridge and these springs have helped firm up the tremolo arm. I would have liked to be able to buy a smaller pack, but if you need these for a repair then these are great. I have not had any issues where the spring gets stuck in the bridge. However, the difference between spring and no spring is very subtle and may not be necessary for most guitar players.

I need these, Fender American Series Stratocaster Tremolo Arm Tension Springs, to slow the swing of the whammy bar on my Strat Clone I built and even though the Fender American Series Stratocaster Tremolo Bridge Assembly should have had one. I have a lot of extras now, but the price was reasonable.

Works exactly as it should. I've had my strat for 15 years and didn't know it was supposed to have this part until I watched the video from Phillip McKnight. I always left the tem bar off because of how loose it was. Now I leave it on.

I bought these for my Fender Squire. Unfortunately, I didn't expect that the hole for the Squire is drilled and tapped all the way through the bridge so when I dropped a spring in it just fell all the way into the back of the guitar. I suppose I could put a setscrew in from the back for the spring to rest on, but it's not worth the hassle since I never use the tremelo arm anyway. I'm sure it's a great product, it just didn't work for me and so I'm posting this in case anyone else is thinking of trying these with a Squire.

If you use the tremolo arm and walk althrough the stage, it is a must. I bought this package and used it for my three Fender guitars. The arm stays steady in the former position you let it, ready to be used instantly.
