Works great in my guitar. Have a strat clone, I don't use tremolo, this block is alot bigger than what was in my guitar. I had the bridge block so it couldn't move. Since the Fender big block will not allow movement.....my guitar cavity is too small. I do not have to put a piece of wood into the cavity. Works great for me.

I was never a fan of the stock Starcaster's tremolo as it would bend pitch rather exaggerated for my tastes. Adding the larger tremolo block dramatically increased the stability of the tremolo. I also noticed this bridge has my Starcaster better maintaining it's tune.I would note i did have to bore out the bridge cavity of the guitar as the block is much larger in comparison and was rubbing against the inner wall. I would attribute this to shotty Malaysian manufacturing of the guitar as the bridge cavity appeared to be routed from each side resulting in 1/8 inch lip/differential. i was able to reduce the offset with a Dremel sanding tool, allowing the tremolo to move freely. I am handy with a Dremel and have a shop vac mounted to catch all sawdust - so i did not mind at all. Just to forewarn those who may not be comfortable doing so.

great upgrade and really good looking but does not fit my squier strat. it is too long and pokes out the backside of the guitar, i fixed this by just not putting the backplate on but i am going to file it down to fit in the future.

Just like it shows in the pictures and says in the description, this listing doesn't include any of the hardware to install the tremolo, just the tremolo itself.I didn't actually see that when purchasing this, but I made it work for now with cheap chinese parts. It's easy to miss what's included when you're comparing tremolos with other models that all include the hardware, so I thought I'd post this review because if you're like me you're more likely to read details in the review section.It's a great trem, and at this price you really can't go wrong. I only paid $23, so I've literally paid more for a hamburger

I have a 2018 Squier Vintage Modified 70's Stratocaster (sonic blue) and I was having problems with the spacing of the saddles. I did a quick internet check and found out that this is a common problem for that particular series of guitar and the solution was to install a new (better) tremolo. I bought this tremolo and installed it. The tremolo dropped right in for a perfect fit! The quality and the heft of the new tremolo is very noticeable and my stratocaster seems like a totally different guitar!! Much better!! The packaging of the new tremolo had Fender on it and was made in Taiwan. I have noticed other reviewers state that the hole where the tremolo bar goes is crooked, I do not use a tremolo bar when I play so I cannot comment on that. I am very happy with my purchase.

Why would you buy a 3rd party product when you can get the real thing for around the same price. Full block. Fender stamped saddles. Works great! Doesn't come with a (screw in) trem arm, but you can find them for around $10. I already had one, so no problem for me.

I installed this on my Austin Strat copy. I had to dremel out the guitar body to make it fit. If you're looking to make your strat copy better, this is it. Changing out a few parts with authentic Fender ones will make a world of difference.

I used this to replace an aftermarket tremolo I'd installed in a Made in Mexico Strat. The replacement tremolo had been advertised as a drop-in exact replacement but never QUIITE fit well, so I got this instead; slotted it in, intonation was pretty solid right out of the box (do NOT expect this yourself, but it was a pleasant surprise), and the fit was perfect.

Tremolo bar won't go into the holw as the threads are broken and not aligned. Returned fo a second one and it was the same.
