Mission: Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation partners people who are blind with expertly bred and trained German Shepherd guide dogs, providing all clients with increased independence to improve their lives and the world around them. Fidelco guide dogs become partners in clients' engaged and vibrant lives -- providing increased independence for people as they pursue their goals and dreams.

All Fidelco guide dogs are provided at no cost to adults who are legally blind. Fidelco guide dog recipients include advocates for people with disabilities, veterans, students, teachers, athletes, busy parents and active retirees.

Fidelco is accredited by the International Guide Dog Federation and is a founding member of the U.S. Council of Dog Guide Schools. For over six decades, Fidelco has bred the German Shepherd Dog. Since 1981, Fidelco has trained and placed more than 1,550 German Shepherd guide dogs across North America.

Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization, with an IRS ruling year of 1990, and donations are tax-deductible.
