Know the limits of this tool before purchasing. This is not meant to be chucked up in a drill press and start hogging out 304 stainless steel. I have had very good results in a handheld Dremel tool doing light work on mild steel and aluminum. Balance of the cutters will be off if you don't support at least half of the shank into the chuck. As always wear eye, and or full face protection when using metal cutting tools.

I bought an aftermarket rotary tool because I wanted to save money and I buy aftermarket accessories for the same reason. Sometimes you get exactly what you pay for but at other times you get quality at a fair price. This was one of the quality buys. They do the job and hold up fine for a hobbyist like myself. Maybe not so good for a purist that uses their Dremel a lot but for a casual user they are fine

After using these for some time, I am upgrading my rating to five stars. When I first started using these I wasn't sure they were going to be very good for wood carving. However, these are double-cut so they cut slower (but with better finish) so I just had to get more experience using them and in choosing the correct bit for the job at hand. They have held up extremely well, even in carving oak wood.I would definitely recommend these but also add that it takes a little while to learn to use them and how to choose the particular one that will work for a particular cut. When carving, I frequently change bits, sometimes trying one that I think might work and if it doesn't do what I want, then go to a different one.Very satisfied with these.

I didn't expect these bits to cut as well as they do on steel, and was surprised at how well they do cut. A WORD OF CAUTION: In addition to the normal eye protection, wear leather or similar gloves and a rubber or vinyl apron.. The small chips/shavings created are SHARP!They get caught easily in clothing and can act like splinters when they contact your skin..

I've been using these to make holes longer for parts to fit on projects and a few other things. Staying sharp so far. Good product for the price. And I would recommend them. I've been using mine with a pencil grinder and a straight die grinder.
