Works great. I use it to notch anything when drilling pilot holes to avoid the drill bit from walking. Good and affordable.

I used to punch steel before drilling several holes to keep the drill bits on point and it did just that. It delivered a very good punch and function as advertised. I think it's value for money.

I ran the punch setting from lowest to highest and got usable punches on wood- pine and cherry. Checked highest on metal and punch was good. Like the handle, easy on the hand with multiple punches.

So far this little gizmo has worked a treat. None of the problems some other folks have had.Took a chance with the good reviews and like this punch. Easy to handle with the red knob.Designed well for the hand. Marks both wood and metal.
