This paid for itself within about a week of the purchase. Twist the red knob to dial up or down the power of the strike. Easily removed 4 broken bolts from a piece of equipment at work.

The large rounded handle makes it nicer to use than the straight metal ones. It has enough snap to mark aluminum very well. It will mark steel enough to use a larger center punch and hammer.

It's a nice centerpunch that I use mostly for wood. Haven't used it on metal, but I probably wouldn't since it's probably not hardened. Still, it's nice to have a pressure adjustment for it. Overall I like it and use it like normal.

This item works as designed making it possible to make a centerpunch mark using only one hand so it's super convenient when drilling on marked hole locations in wood or metal.

Punch was effective in several materials, including various types of steel, wood, and plastic. Much more satisfying than using a traditional punch!

I was struggling to drill holes in exact place when needed to install by closets. This hole puncher does the trick every time by making a little dent so that drillbit can easily make the hole and not slide away.

It gets the job done. I use it on aluminum and stainless steel and worked great. It still working fine after a month of heavy use and I paid much less of other brand center hole punch

This is one of those items that you wished you had purchased long ago. No reaching for a mallet or hammer, just center it and press to snap your mark precisely in place.

Love the ergonomic handle. It makes a difference. Love the function as it puts a nice clean and accurate hole for a drill bit. Glade I splurged on this!

Never had one of these laying around. Use to just grab a nail and strike it to do the same effect, or just drill blind. Finally picked one up and I think it does pretty well. It arrived with athe adjustment all the way down. Which, is VERY hard to push and actuate it. I see now why they sell a version with the red bulb as without it, it does hurt the hand a bit on the highest setting. I backed it waaaay off though, much lighter, and it still marks aluminum and some random cheap wrench I had laying around. Mostly using it for aluminum and steel. Marks dont have to be anything crazy, so long as something exists for the drill to find/follow, its good. Very happy! I just yeah, maybe make sure to buy the one with the red-bulb for a little more comfort hah
