Causes: Philanthropy, Private Grantmaking Foundations, Public Foundations

Mission: To increase AWARENESS about optic nerve disorders and other causes of blindness to the general public; to fund RESEARCH into causes, treatments and cures; and to build PROGRAMS to assist individuals who suffer from vision loss.

Results: This year we were able to donate to research at the Doheny Eye Institute in Los Angeles, the Bascom Palmer Institute in Miami, the Foundation Fighting Blindness, and the International Foundation for Optic Nerve Disorders. We also helped fund VI runners at the Cherry Creek Sneak in Denver, and guided runners at the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Half Marathon and California International Marathon.

Programs: FiftyTwo4Mom is a nonprofit organization that helps to raise AWARENESS and money for RESEARCH into optic nerve disorders and other causes of blindness. Our organization participates in races across the country, including guiding blind athletes. We are also working with many organizations to help support and develop programs to help people with vision loss.
