I had no republics fitting this on my head. We had many different adults try it on and no one had trouble with it fitting. I had no trouble at all and actually had room where it could move.

My son wears this for boxing and he loves it. Its comfortable, easy to get on and off (he can do it by himself), and its absorbent of impact. I'm happy with this purchase and feel that my child is protected.

Used these when sparring with my oldest son and although it absorbs most of the impact with boxing gloves, you will still know that you have been hit. You may want to select something with a bit more padding for total absorption but these work fairly well. If someone with medium to heavy punching power clocks you while you're wearing this headgear, expect some bell ringing.

I bought this item because I got tired of the looks it'd get from perfect strangers when I'd take the Mrs. out to buy my food or to have her change my oil or cut the lawn...People always looking at her black eyes... well had supper been ready at seven or my mashed potatoes smooshed like I like em then no need to get handsy with her..Well anywho since I done bought this little face saver no more looks for Kimberly or myself... she's takes shots to the face just aces now...
