This backboard fits perfectly on our permanent pole. The kids love it especially because we can easily adjust the height

I received a blue back board not red. My girlfriend prefers the blue so no big deal for us. But if you want the red then you might be out of luck. It came with no mounting bracket but it came with two plates that fit over a 4x4 without modification. I just lag bolted a 2' 4x4 above my garage door and lagged the backboard to that.

Replacement backboard needed and this fit the bill. Instructions were easy to follow and the backboard was easy to install. Very solid. Will last a long time.

I look high and low for products made in the USA. I went with this spalding backboard because it showed on line made in the USA. When it was delivered and I opened it I noticed sticker stating Made in China. Sad that we are being missled. Nothing on line showed China. Sad Sad Sad.

Fit my existing pole well, Really would have liked the 54 but it's fine as it is. Using it for grandkids and myself (67 year old Senior)

I didn't measure the broken backboard I had on my Spalding basketball base so that's on me but I thought these were pretty standardly sized. The good thing is that it's smaller, therefore less wind resistant and less likely to blow over the weighted base. The bad thing is that my daughter throws bricks and misses the backboard altogether and running down the street after rogue basketballs is getting old.

It said it was a backboard AND RIM, the rim never arrived.

You may need a bracket kit. I had a roof mount and used not brackets from the goal parts plus the bracket parts.The goal and backboard appear to be great quality and looks.I recommend it.

Am overall happy with this backboard. Unfortunately we were missing the instruction manual. Was able to easily find it on their website. 37 pages and only needed 2 of them.
