The fish feeder works well. Placed it by the pond and it pushes out the feed pellets as designed for 10 gold fish. The instructions state a 1 setting is a tablespoon. However it appeared to be two or three tablespoons. I have it set for a single feeding a day. It is a great device when going on vacation and appears to be very reliable. Put a heavy rock on top of the lid to help keep it being moved around by the weather or critters. So far, so good.

overall i like this feeder for a small pond, it holds at least for me a couple weeks of food so dont have to always worry about them eating. if i had to complain about anything it would be that the controls / display are only on 1 side and where i had mount mine i am not able to access the controls and have to remove the unit to make any changes. given the price point of this item i dont believe adding that extra panel would have cost that much more and would allow easy access no matter the mount position.

I use this for my koi pond and my cichlid pond for consistent daily feeding with the option to turn off when necessary. Very efficient.

We went on a 5 week RV trip. It worked perfectly while we were gone. We live in California so we haven't had rain.

I took the advice from another post to use a 5 gallon bucket. I still had problems with the raccoon chewing on and shaking the feeder so food that was in the green goose neck would dump into pond. If you look hard you can see the teeth marks in the picture. So I installed some wire around the opening, It worked for the last two nights I'll have to wait and see how well it performs in the long run.

Too many design flaws like everyone else mentioned. Raccoons dumped all the koi food into my pond first night. I spent many hours to modify it to work without putting it into a bucket so it wouldn't look cheap and ugly but it was a waste of time. Only way it'll work if if you stick it into a big bucket but at that point why spend so much money on this product? Just buy a corn feeder timer and install it on the bucket for a fraction of the price and work as good if not better, which I'm getting ready to do next. Don't waste your time or money on this product.

could you please let me know how's long manufacture waranty for this product ,reason i like this product ,i bought 2 of them already ,but each of them last about one year and half ( electronic malfunction ) now it time ,thank you

Cheap but it works GREAT! I drilled a hole in a 5gal bucket for the spout and it works great. The bucket with lid keeps this extra water proof and keeps the animals out.

This feeder has been as reliable as it comes For the past 2 years during feeding season my Fishmate P7000 has worked flawlessly This season, the 3rd year, however there was a glitch Something happened, what I think is electronics, the display would only show FFF I gave the manufacturer a call, and without a blink they stood by their product after filling out a simple form on line I had a new feeder with in a week!!!

I enclosed mine from the start and it's been working on the same batteries for two years now. I adjust the feedings as water temp changes. Keep the directions just in case you forget how to program it. Works well for me.

Once the feeder is set up it seems to work well, but the instructions are lousy. I wanted to have two feeding times and in that section it stated you can chose one, two or three feeding times. However, you are not able to eliminate a feeding time during this programming section, you have to program zero units of feed in the next programming section, and that is not explained anywhere. I am glad I still have hair on my head!

It's a great product. Water proof, but I still cover mine in dark white plastic grocery bag. From rain to keep the hot sun rays away from food. Even though it's semi shaded plastic. Got 3 time slots with extra feed when I want. Eventually the clips do break off from lid, but that's wear tear. I also put brick on top, cuz heavy winds will knock it over.

When I was researching this product someone mentioned to put it in a 5 gallon bucket. Thanks for that idea. Works great and will keep rodents from trying to chew it open to get to the food. So far this product is working perfectly.

Used it once. No issues. Second time to use it...... buttons controlling keypad refused to work. Replaced batteries... Same thing. now the $112 worthless piece of plastic goes in the recycling bin. One would think that a fish pond feeder would have at least a LITTLE RESISTANCE to humidity. BTW, the one time it did work it was covered with a plastic garbage bag, so no rain or water ever got on the feeder. Junk, Junk, Junk!!!

It did the job (after figuring it out) wile we went on vacation for ten days out pond is covered by a car port and was not exposed to water. I would recommend!
