I bought this 2 wks ago to replace my Dell laptop that crashed. I LOVE this laptop !! It is so easy, fast, sleek, great keyboard for fast typing, great screen quality and more. I am amazed for the price!! Did I mention fast?!I wish my Dell had crashed years ago. Haha!

Price wise it was a great gift

My HP Pavilion died. I contacted HP Support, and they told me that I needed to buy a new laptop. I am so glad that I purchased this Acer laptop! I love it!

It was not too difficult adapting to Windows 11

Had to get a new one because our other laptop finally died after 7 years. Didn't want to spend a lot of money and would mostly be using it for just browsing the web, Zoom meetings, watching YouTube videos and mild gaming. So far it runs perfectly and smoothly. Must switch it out of S mode to get Zoom installedEven though this comes in S mode, it's very easy to switch it out of S mode and it's free. You just have to go under the laptop settings and switch it. No purchase necessary to do this. I googled how to switch it out of S mode, super easy to do.

This laptop is awesome. Don't bother buying an expensive laptop unless you are a hardcore gamer or something. This thing is lightening fast and works perfectly.

i had earlier purchased a few burner laptops but this one is still going strong after several years' intensive use. i am not a gamer and i do not need lots of speed or memory for image manipulation, so i can't address that. i use basic apps and i use it for work and for leisure. a great reliable little machine; if i need to replace it i will definitely check out this brand again.

For a basic machine does everything I need it to do.Would buy again

I spent many hours making a decision about what laptop to buy. I think I made a good choice. This is a more-than-adequate laptop for general computing needs. Although there was minimal documentation included with this budget-priced Acer laptop, it was not hard to get started. It came with full-featured Windows 11 Home, not the limited S version. And Windows 11 turns out to be refreshing after Windows 10's screen-hogging tiles. The case is attractive and a step up from our old black-cased laptops. The unit is lighter and thinner than our previous laptops and gets an A for portability. The display is good and sharp. ///// We paid a little more to get the Ryzen 5 series processor and the machine is significantly faster than the Windows 10 computers we had before. Admittedly, this laptop is not used for gaming or dense graphic arts work in Illustrator or Photoshop... We use a powerful desktop for that. But for general business purposes, especially those requiring portability, this is a fine choice at relatively low cost. A negative was that Norton was pre-installed but it was not difficult to uninstall. ///// Note: We have just purchased this computer, and this review is our initial impression. For what I do it's perfect. Slim ,light and what a screen! I did my share of searching and shopping and you can't get these features at this price anywhere except ACER

My new Acer laptop came today and I could not be more pleased. I want to address just a couple of issues that I read in the reviews. First, it is very easy to get out of S mode. I just googled it and it gave me step by step (settings, activation, click the Switch our of S mode which will take you to the microsoft store and just click get/install. No, it does NOT ask you to pay for anything (unless you click the wrong go to the microsoft store).The other issue I am finding is in finding the right upgrade to memory. When looking at a few upgrades, I was told by the seller that they would work fine, but when actually contacting the company (Crucial in this case) I was told they had nothing for this laptop. So it would be beneficial to go directly to the company, not those who are selling randomly.As for the backlit keyboard. There is nothing wrong here. Yes, it does turn off if you are not using but the minute you hit any key, it comes back on. I do not see a problem with this. It is like turning the lights off when you leave a room. It is saving energy and what is wrong with that?All in all, I could not be happier!! I will contact acer when I want to upgrade memory to make sure I get the right one.Oh, and my 1TB external hard drive worked perfectly. I only needed it to upload some old files to the new machine. No problem at all!Acer, you are the best!!!

The computer has many interesting features that I may have to ask my daughter to explain.

still working in 2022, minor screen issues. but other than that.. its a great value

Does not print, intermittent, freeze-up, 14 days after did still not received refund, talked with 2 different customer rep, both are annoying, high pitch parallel talker and disrespectful... as of 4/14/2022 4:30 PM

Upgraded my spouse's 10 year old machine and wow what a difference! Even when expected and really trusting that it will look, perform, and feel great; yeah it wow'd us.
