The touchpad stopped working after a few months of use. I tried to update the driver, uninstall it and install it again but nothing worked. My husband also has an Acer laptop with the same touchpad problem. It just stops workings after a few months of use. Also there are all sort of problems when trying to print a document. I don't know if it is a Windowns problem, HP problem or Acer problem, but I can't print in color anymore, neither can I print both sides of the page. It sucks because I read so many good reviews and I was certain that buying this Acer Aspire was a good investiment, but it has being a disapointment so far.

When I took this to my tech store , my guy said, “ you got yourself a good one I see, you're gonna have everything then some” fir my line of work . my old acer is still a work horse that's why I wanted another just went with some more perks.

I don't do much on my laptop. I bought this with the intentions of upgrading it but I like it how it is. I'm just watching YouTube videos or playing the one dumb game I play. I've had it for a couple months and have no issues.

Bought this for my mom to use casually. After 13 months of normal use, one of the hinges broke and in turn cut a wire that prevented the screen from working. Before that, worked well. After speaking with service, they want another $250 to repair it. You get what you pay for!

I have only had this laptop for a few days. Seems to function as designed. Is fast. Screen is bright. Keyboard backlight feature is awesome, especially during the evening hours. Keyboard is standard for a laptop but is easy to use, even when switching from a full size keyboard for a desktop. 2TB USB drive accommodates all necessary files. Easy access to the Internet for cloud drive setup. So far, awesome machine!! Now to go a purchase a carry case!!!

Screen is beautiful. Love the backlit keyboard. Good for most usual tasks. Downloaded windows 11 and installed easily. Goes from screen to screen quickly. Not really good glfor gaming, but that's not why I purchased it. Battery life isn't the greatest, but use it mostly at home, so I always have a plug nearby. It delivered as promised. Very pleased.

Acer 15.6 Silver, I don't have a regret purchasing the Fine Laptop.The quality is nice, love the backlight keyboard, Alexa built-in.Battery life is good.However this Laptop does not have a SD or CD player slot so I purchased a CD ram player with attached SD card slot different.No regrets!!!Highly recommended

Let's face it, this is not a laptop designed for high performance gaming or processor intensive design or art work. Instead it's a sub 4 pound notebook with standard features and capabilities. The two USB-3s and the USB-C are good, as is the single USB-2 which is perfect for a wireless mouse chiclet. The screen is good but nothing to get excited about. The single HDMI works as advertised as does the the CAT 5, though I would gladly swap the latter for a Display Port or an SD card slot.My only complaint is the keyboard backlighting. It can be turned off and on with a hotkey but it insists on turning the backlighting off after about 10 seconds of non-use. There is a setting in BIOS to disable the auto darkening however.All in all you really can't go wrong with the purchase at this price point, but if you're the type that wants to have all of the option boxes ticked for maximum specs, you would be better served by a laptop that starts in the $650ish price range

I bought this laptop for the capability to add an internal hard drive to store some rather large files. Acer provides an empty 2.5-inch hard drive caddy and set of screws for easy installation. Just follow the online video. Without the added drive, 118 GB of storage and 4 GB of ram is more than adequate for basic computing. This is my first experience with the AMD Ryzen CPU and haven't noticed any drop-off between the speed of my Lenovo and the Acer. It doesn't have a touch screen like my Lenovo, but I rarely use that feature anyway. Picture quality is superb. Very clear and bright. The keyboard is back lit when typing. If adding the extra drive, Windows 11 will not automatically allocate the additional storage until you go to “Disk Management,” right click on the unallocated space and run “New Simple Volume” then select the drive letter from the drop-down list.
